EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is one of the most well-supported, evidence-based treatments for trauma, PTSD, and complex trauma. EMDR helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel as emotionally intense or disruptive in the present.

Rather than requiring you to relive trauma in detail, EMDR works by supporting the nervous system in safely processing experiences that were never fully integrated at the time they occurred. Many clients find that memories become less overwhelming, triggers lose their intensity, and a greater sense of calm and control emerges over time.

Trauma work is always approached thoughtfully and at a pace that feels manageable. Safety, stabilization, and collaboration are central to the process.
